I am writing this text first and foremost for myself. I finally want to speak my mind and close this chapter. Do not take it too seriously.
My name is Yarik. In 2021 I launched vomitboy.com — I simply dumped all my melancholy, self-digging and strange thoughts into one pile. I wanted to hide from everyone, and ended up at the very bottom. And you know what? I like it down here.
The Pre-Vomit Era
I have been involved with online communities since 2016. I was an ordinary schoolkid: running to the corner shop to that cursed orange QIWI terminal, dropping 300 rubles at a time on ads. I spent my first earned money on a signed pic from Prophet Sunboy (who scammed me, lol).
Then I ran both small and fairly large communities — up to 120k subscribers. For me it was a very lively and well-fed time. But then the money problems started, and the head problems too. In the end I sold everything and went off to “get serious” — enrolled in medical school.
From that period I still warmly remember the collab with Dawg — the video “How to Become 2D”. Those who have heard my voice will surely recognize it.

I had long been lurking on the “orange forum”. At night, instead of studying, I stared at the live camera of a beer joint, following the local legends and Mug-kun with his light-blue mug.
After one very hard breakup I was doing really badly. I bought a small depressive community page and slowly started reshaping it to my taste.
One day I posted a photo of that very mug — it unexpectedly blew up. I started posting it more often and added archives from 2ch. Then Richie appeared. Because of the first-person captions, people quickly decided that I was her. That is how the “mug-femboy” persona was gradually born.

Over time a whole crowd grew out of the page. I funneled people into Discord and Telegram. There were lots of new faces, laughter, voice chats until morning. For me it is still the warmest time of the whole project.
Dont ask questions.
Then I decided to be honest and showed that I am just a regular guy. The reach dropped hard right away. Apparently people liked the invented character better.
Several times I deleted absolutely everything: channels, servers, chats. Every time it was very hard, but I kept coming back. Either because I missed the vibe, or simply because I did not know what else to do with my life.
A Regular Guy. Needed by No One. Life Outside the Community
These days I work as a doctor. Sounds almost like a joke given everything that happened, but it is true. In my free time I read, play games and tinker with websites.
I am making this site mostly for myself — to figure out, at least a little, what was happening to me all these years.
We are a by-product of the lifestyle we invented for ourselves. Definitely.
